BLOODY GOOD PERIOD
When asylum seekers reach the UK, they are given just £37.50 per week to live on, with no provision for menstrual supplies, which are classed as ‘luxury’ products.
Bloody Good Period is a charity set up to provide menstrual products for free to asylum seekers, refugees and those who can’t otherwise afford them.
I started working with Bloody Good Period in late 2018, updating the brand identity, formalising it with the creation of brand guidelines, and designing an entirely new website. I have since worked with the Bloody Good team on the strategy, tone and design of graphics for a huge range of different fundraising campaigns, including 'Bloody Funny' (their annual stand-up show), and 'Festive Period' (to drive donations over Christmas).

Bloody Funny won eight awards at the Indigo Design Awards in 2020, including Gold in Branding for Social Change, Gold in Integrated Graphic Design for Social Change and Gold in Promotional Materials. The project also made the final shortlist for The Drum's Social Purpose Awards in 2020.
